Our Wineries

Auriga Cellars specializes in award winning Syrah and Zinfandel. The vineyard is located outside of Placerville and hosts 3 acres of Syrah and Grenache, grown on a gentle southeastern slope with deep, volcanic soils and a warm microclimate.

Since 1972, Boeger has applied innovation and craftsmanship to produce estate bottled wines with consistent quality and diversity. We offer complimentary and reserve wine tasting in our beautiful wine tasting facility. Grounds include patios, a redwood grove, stream, pond, park and historic 1872 wine cellar. Private events by appointment.

On a stunning knoll top, overlooking estate vineyards, stands the Gothic edifice of Cantiga Wineworks. Within its walls, winemaker Rich Rorden strives to recapture the art of making classic-style wines that align well with food and benefit from long periods of cellaring. Enjoy a food and wine pairing flight while admiring our medieval tapestries.

Shadow Ranch was established in 2006 after nearly a decade of searching California’s premium grape growing areas for the ideal place to produce premium wines.  A unique wine with distinctive flavor, Shadow Ranch has won several awards for its quality wines.

Since 1977 John and Barbara MacCready have handcrafted small lots of estate grown Rhône wines including Syrah, Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache, Mouvedre and Rhône blends as well as traditional wines.
